Metallic Epoxy Floors

Metallic epoxy floors for garages, showrooms and homes.

What a Metallic Epoxy Floor Is

Metallic pigments are swirled into the epoxy to create a floor with depth and movement. Every metallic floor has its own pattern.

How a Metallic Epoxy Floor Is Installed

The order is the same every time, and each step sets up the next.

1. Grind the concrete

We grind the slab to remove dirt, oils and old coatings. That opens the surface so the new floor can bond.

2. Repair cracks and damage

Cracks, chips and pits are filled and leveled before any coating goes down, since the finish cannot hide them.

3. Prime and lay the base coat

A solid epoxy base coat goes down first. Its color is the backdrop the metallic pigment moves over.

4. Pour the metallic coat

Metallic pigment is mixed into clear epoxy and poured across the floor.

5. Work the pattern

The pigment is moved and shaped by hand while the epoxy is open, which is why every metallic floor ends up with its own swirls and depth.

6. Seal with a clear topcoat

The topcoat protects the pattern and leaves a smooth surface that wipes clean.

Jose and his crew did an incredible job on our garage floor. It looks like a new car showroom now.
